What's this really worth

I have a friend, who knows the individual who won the Mustang GT with Shelby uplifter package at this link

He's wanting to sell it. The contest states a 42K value, but I don't think it's that high. May not be enough to tell just by reading the description, but Im hoping some of you more knowledgeable mustang guru's can decipher enough to tell me what a wholesale and retail price would be.

I know the Shelby GTs are expensive but they are nothing more than the Handling and Power Packs from FRPP added to a stock GT. The rest of the price comes from Shelby's name. Same thing goes for the new Bullitt.

Its not worth 42K, Thats GT500 pricing. 33K is a good sell.

They are selling for 41K.
31K base plus a 10K package addition.
So in reality you will pay sticker for it because of the name and it being a limited production.
In 2005 when the S197 came out you could not get a GT and if you did then you paid sticker or sticker+ dealer markup. Prices have not dropped on the sticker but dealers are more willing to deal a bit now.
The SGT I would guess will never drop and Dealers wont deal either.
Limited editions tend to stay that way.
Even the GT500 didn't drop in price. Only the Dealer markups was dropped to compete with the other dealers in the area.
I would ask 38K for a quicker sale.
