2010 Shelby GT500

Just wanted to get yalls opinions about the new 500's. I think they are mixing too much of the 4th and 5th gen together as far as the body goes. All else is great!(Except being quieter )


Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 -- 2010 model
The high-performance Mustang will go on sale this spring at the same time as regular V-6 and GT models of the restyled, re-engineered pony car. Engineers improved the Shelby model in part by incorporating platform upgrades made for the 2008 Shelby GT500 KR model. Ford says the changes for the 2010 Shelby mean the car handles better, is quieter and has an improved ride. The car is powered by a 5.4-liter V-8 producing 540 hp and 510 pounds-feet of torque.

to my eye, the 05~09 was a sharper looking body...exterior looks aside, the pics ive seen of the '10 interior look GREAT. The shelby upgrades are pretty minor I think, likely 540 hp or 500 hp would break the tires loose before getting there any where legally...doubt you could floor it at under 60-70 without going up in smoke- not that it wouldnt be fun
I think with the heavy discounts on 08/09's still on the lots, you could probably get one way under msrp, but the '10 will likely be marked up for a while just because its 'new'.

That front end is uglier than a sack full of a$$holes.

wow...I didnt even look at the picture of the shelby nose till reading the above post- I'm not a fan of the '10, but gotta agree the '10 shelby nose is far less attractive than that to me also...I think of all the '10 pics, the basic v6 nose is by far the best looking- but I really dislike the rear on them all...
