4/sale early ford aluminum leafspring bushing sets

Made the first set today:


I am taking orders as I type this. I have ~10 sets of four bushings for sale. These will be in replacement of the stock spring eye bushing that attaches to the Shackle. 6061 aluminum is the material, CNC lathe worked to very close tolerances. These will last forever id imagine. they are the style of the original rubber guys. These should fit any ford from 60-mid 70s. as long as leafsprings are same size bore. If you measure the spring eye and it is just under 1.5" then these should fit.

The price is 25.00 usd for a set plus shipping. Install we have to use a press or a hammer. As long as the shackle isnt rusted out it should not allow binding. Just a more positive stop to the force of a launch and they dont flex like rubber.

Well it is possible I will be making front eye bushings, again as a two piece design, this will (if it happens) around november. Your not the first to ask about the fronts. I figured since the big name traction bars use the front spring eye with there bars (caltrac, slide-a-link). That I would start with tightening up the rear eye(s). Also If you have any other Ideas for turned pieces let me know....

as long as you guys are running stock leafsprings they will fit. Special sizes can be made but cost extra.

shipping to anywhere in the US 48 is 8 dollars. this includes insurance.
