automatic and manual transmission now

aluminum rod. With all stainless steel hardware and heim fittings. They are adjustable from 10.5 to 12". No provisions for kickdown since most seem to not use it anyway. Rods are .252 OD. the aluminum is just extruded 6061 rod. thread is 1/4-28 as are the heim fittings.

the aluminum units are 35 plus shipping. all the stainless hardware (nuts, bolts, washers, lock nuts, heim joints) are included. Anyway shipping is ~ 5 bucks in the US just let me know your zip so I can get an exact quote. Also all paypal purchases add 1.50 for the fees.

thanks

and yes the pictures are missing the lock nuts for the rods. And the rod shown is SS not aluminum

have a bunch of these made up if anybody is interested.

Re: custom throttle rods

I have different lengths avaiable now. 9", 9.5" and 10" rods. I also have larger OD rods that use male heim joints instead of female joints. these are the same price as the AL rods above. And yes $1.50 of each sale will go to FM.

Thanks

Re: custom throttle rods

If I understand correctly, with this piece you can avoid using the factory bracket/linkage that bolts to the intake manifold?

Re: custom throttle rods

Ran a new batch of rods these are .5 inches longer since it seemed like the old run was just on the short side though they still worked. These will be adjustable from 11" to 13" now. I am also going to start to sell for those interested who use an automatic shifter a stop for the kickdown to make it function correctly. Here is a picture to give you an idea. These will just slide right over your rod and should be set to have about .005-.010 gap between the kickdown and kickdown stop.

this adapter will be an extra 10 dollar charge and comes with all hardware.
