Nice Used Sbf 282s Comp Cam With Premium Springs & Matching Retainers/cups/locks
Here is a COMP CAM 282S and it is designed for a Ford 289/302/351w type motor. It is a solid flat tappet cam and it includes the Comp Cam recommended “Premium” valve springs. Also includes Crane matched valve spring retainers, the spring cups for aluminum heads, and standard valve locks. They were all used together for one summer and have nearly 2000 miles on them. They were removed when I decided to go to go with a custom cam. These parts still look like new and have no known damage that would keep them from being used again.
Comp Cams 282S--Part # 31-334-4
236int 236ex duration
.528int .528ex lift 110°
2000 to 6000RPM
This cam has lots of torque, still pulls hard at 6k, and has a nice rumpity sound at idle. This is a nice package--all you would need to add are the solid lifters.
I have tried my best to present this item but you should still study the description and the pictures since it is being sold as is. Asking $125 shipped, obo.
