Hi all,
Picked up a '64 Fairlane a few weeks ago, and I'm looking to get rid of a few things I won't be needing.
First up is the 200 CID 6 / 2 speed(?) combination. Supposedly the trans is rebuilt. You wouldn't know by looking at it, but it might just be since the guy was pretty honest about the condition car when I talked to him. The 200 is locked up from sitting. After pulling the plugs and taking a look, I feel like it should come free pretty easily. Ran in '85 when the car was parked. The car has 45k on it, which i believe to be actual mileage judging by the shape the car is in. Everything attached to the motor/trans in the pictures, with the exception of the yoke in the trans, is included.
Asking 140 for both , or 100 for the trans and 50 for the motor if separated.
I'm pretty willing to negotiate if I'm asking too much. I honestly have no idea what this crap is worth. All I know is I would MUCH rather see it go to someone who can use it, rather than be scrapped and shipped to Japan to turn into another damn Toyota.
Next up is the original decklid from my '64. I've bought one in better shape, so I really don't need this one taking up space. Its got some rust at the seam, as I've tried to show in the pictures, but its deffinately fixable. Other than that, this thing is really straight and clean. I'd like to try to get $70 for it.
I've also got the power steering pump from this car. It's a really cool little tiny cast iron unit. No pictures but I can get some if anyone is interested. Make an offer on it.
Everything is located in Saugerties NY, about an 45 minutes south of Albany.
Best way to reach me is my email, wgiles13 at msn.com
I'm also interested in whatever '64 Fairlane stuff anybody has. Primarily looking for the front valance and valance trim.
Thanks,
Will
