Trade (2) 16 x 8 Torque Thrust D's for 16x6 or 16x7

I have 2 American Racing 16x8 Torque Thrust D's 4" Backspace. Part Number 605-6865. Comes with the BFG GForce KDW Tires. Looking to trade for same style, smaller width either a 16x7 or 16x6 Torque Thrust D.

Maybe be a long shot for the trade, but might be willing to sell. These are in the front of my torino and rub the fenders...tired of dealing with the rubbing and I dont want to resort to raising the front end.

Might be willing to sell...shoot me an offer

I have a pair of Torq Trust D 15x7's with 3.75" backspacing I would consider trading you for your two 16x8's if you are interested in going that route. Mine are less than a year old and in excellent condition (they are on the rear of my car in the picture below)

I am needing to get a little more rubber under the rear of my car and the next size up (15x8.5's) have the same 3.75" backspacing which would make them stick out another inch and a half. That's why I am looking at going with the 16x8's with the 4" backspacing on the rear and keeping my 15x6's on the front.

Also let me know if you decide to just sell yours.

Hmm I wonder if the 15x7 would look odd with the 16's in back ...Too bad your not in texas (be great to try em out) Im curious if the tires on a 1" narrower wheel with the 3.75 backspace would put them in about the same place (tire area to fender well) as whats on it now.

Do you know the overall diameter or overall height?

I have seen cars before with a size larger diameter wheels on the back than the front. It looks aggresive and kind of gives the illusion of having a rake even when the car is sitting level.
Since the 15x7 wheel is 1 inch narrower with a 3.75 backspace, it is 1/4" less on the inside of the wheel and 3/4" less on the outside. Therefore you would gain more clearance on both the inner and outer edges but gaining a little more on the outer edge. That may do the trick if that is where they are rubbing. You can always get tires with the height you need. Mine have 225-60-15 Bridgestone Potenzas on them. They are right at 26" inches tall.
Do some research and just let me know what you decide. Also, please let me know if you decide to sell yours instead.

Will do. Thanks for the info, I'll either be selling them or trying out the 15"s My car already has a bit or a rake. I dont think anyone else has the same size wheel combo so I'd have something to look at. I dont know. I'll do a little research and give you a shout out. Would they come with the tires? Thanks again,

Mike

Yes, I would trade them with the tires since yours come with the tires. I looked them up and they are 25.6" tall. What size tires are on yours?
