I need a 351...Is it rebuildable? if so i'll pay for shipping

Supposedly rebuilt already.. 6,000 miles before it was shelved. No idea what actual condition it's in on the inside, but I got it from a friend I trust who was using it until he scrapped the van it was in.

Don't have a lot of room for keeping an engine sitting around.. so if I could get rid of it, I could put a six on its place on the stand. Never shipped anything that large, though.. and I wouldn't be able to haul it anywhere to ship it out since my truck is down right now and won't be usable for awhile. Would have to borrow a friend's truck to move it.

Sometime in the near future I may crack it open and take some pics. Not today, though.. been raining for five days straight here.

Man, if anyone within 100 miles of Atlanta has a free 351W or C lemme know. Everyone else on the West coast of up North always has them, but I guess all of the rednecks pick up the engines down here to put in their trucks and jeeps.... No offense *wink wink*.

Re: Free! 1986 5.0 Roller Motor!

i find on c/l if you are asking a low price for something no one will bite, but as soon as you raise it up to 350 or so(for that 5.0) someone will call and say they need such/such and give you 200 for it. Works almost every time.

from my view most people look at the expensive stuff then want to "talk you down" where as if you are already low they wont even respond to it.

Not sure what it would cost to ship...are you interested in getting rid of it?

I would like to get rid of it, yes.. just don't know how I'm going to get it out of here and ship it. Truck's not driveable right now.
