Seems to be an awful lot of familiar names and Rancheros here now! What happened over at "the other place" Every time I log on, somebody is fighting and spreading BS all day. At least I can access this site from work, unlike ranchero.us.

Newb here. Just found this forum. Have been a member of Ranchero US for a couple of years, but not real active. Belong to a couple other forums also.

FIrst time on here. Long to the short I bought a 71 Ranchero last December. I had a cream puff back in high school and college, but it got totaled by an illegal. So on tho this one. A little ruff around the edges, but pretty unmolested. I am in the process now of deciding which way to go with the motor: 351 c 2v. I will keep the same platform for nostalgic reasons, but after that, i am open. I do not plan on doing a stroker, mainly because of the head acres, so prob a mild build with the bottle thrown in for good measure. I have a nice c4 right now, but I have alwasy wanted to do a top loader. I have also been lloking at some AODs as well. As far as the rear end is concerned, 3:90 locker and then on the the problem of getting it to hook up.
