Downunder 1965 Galaxie Ute.

I thought I'd just like to show you what some people do down here.
Over the years I've seen a few Galaxie Utes in magazines, and locally in Perth, I have seen a '68 trayback, and a '70 trayback.
Here's one, from a magazine from 1979/80.
I think it looks OK.

The Galaxie Utes are custom made by individuals.
Haven't seen any for a while now, apart from the odd one on eBay.

Not Bad! It looks like an American '67 front end.

Here's another old custom '65 galaxie Ute, which is now being rebuilt last time I heard.

Re: Downunder 1965 Galaxie Ute.

Australia always had a limited supply of cars, with our smallish population, so some people go out and produce their own version of things, to be different.
After all, the Ute was invented in Oz, so I guess that they might as well continue the tradition.

Those are pretty cool. I've always wanted to build a full size 64 Ranchero out of a Galaxie, but don't have the metal working skills, or patience.
