Why do i like 'em when they look like that? Build it strong, leave the paint and wheels as is. Cheers.

Talking Re: I am glad this Ranchero forum is here

a great big hello to all of you here, and especially to my old friends trikar, 72Chero and 72gtva{whatever your name is here,Dan} pdw72 and the rest of y'all whom i haven't seen here yet. it's nice to have an alternative. as some of you know my 79' got rearended and totaled last month but i'm not chero-less, i've still got my 77' parts car. i've been working on a replacement for my old "baby" and may have found her, she's another 79'gt .with the exception of the hood {it's got an aftermarket scoop} and a small dent in the front fender the body is perfect, no visible rust anywhere, and the chrome is even good. the interior is the brougham style and very nice also. she's got 61k miles on the odometer and i honestly beleive it's never turned over.now for the bad news, she's sit {on pavement} for 3 years, why, i don't know. i don't really care as i'd like a fresh motor and trans, brakes ,etc. before daily use anyway hopefully i can talk the guy out of her , y'all wish me luck............ray

Re: I am glad this Ranchero forum is here

Welcome Ray!!! Hope you get that one and I'll be lookin' for one too for you. Found a couple of good candidates for Dan the Ranchero Man although they've been a little further than he wants to travel. What engine is your preference?
