When is rains it poors
So, I figured I'd tell you all about my recent good fortune. It seems I have another Ranchero in my stable now. A friend of mine who owns his own speed shop worked on a 1975 Ranchero for a customer who then drove the car to a town 50 miles South of ours, and proceded to pull out the seats an a few other interior items for another 74 Ranchero he owned. He then parked the car and gave the title to my friend a year ago. Last night my friend calle dme up and asked if I wa home, I said yeah, and he said, "ok, I'll be there in a few minutes to drop off this title." He had no use for the car, (or interest, he's a Chevy guy), so he just happened to find the title in his office and decided to give it to me. I have never seen the car, all I know is it is still at his old customer's house, and it supposidly has a 429 BB in it. I can't wait to take a trip (and a trailer) down to see it. I can only hope the guy has not been takeing more parts off the car over the last year, and I hope the body is ok, but o well, I can't exactly argue with the price. I'm not sure waht I'm gunna do witht he car yet, my Dad has expressed interest in it, I may let him have it, don;t know yet. All I know is I'm not gunna quit on my lil 62 ranchero, and I have too many cars right now. But I guess that is a good problem to have!
