92-72 swap

HI,all Im new to this site , But here is my problem,someone took a 92 lincion mark vii 5.0 H.O and put it in a 72 rancharo,let car si for 9 months took it to someone else said finish it sat there for another 3 months now i have been asked to deal with it. I have never dealt with this sort of thing,I have computer in car all connections that are there plugged in ignition hooked up. car will turn over but it will not get spark,PLEASE ANY AND ALL HELP WOULD BE VERY HELPFULL!!!

HI and Welcome to FM and the Ranchero section . I'm sorry I don't know squat about the newer stuff but I'm sure someone here can help you . I'm going to post your question in all tech section as well . It most likely will be looked at more there .

Make sure that all grounds are connected, especially the one to the battery, one from the engine to the chassy, one engine to frame. check the computer connectore. The Green and Brown connectore.

Check fordfuelinjection.com for some great info on the wiring and such...autozone.com has online wiring diagrams under the repair info tab...after you check the wiring and all, the hall effect pickups are prone to go bad...I had the same problem with mine and about pulled my hair out trying to figure it out. 600-800 ohms, IIRC, is good, anything more is bad.
