Re: 1960 Falcon Ranchero V8 suspension?

Maybe this can give you some ideas. I have a '60 sedan with a 302/AOD, so the front suspension is probably the same. I used upper and lower control arms for a 64-65 Mustang
with Granada spindles and disc brakes. These parts are a bolt-on. The control arms can be gotten from any Mustang vendor at a reasonable cost. The brakes are another story but
the parts are still out there. In fact there is a vendor marketing complete Granada conversion parts (I'm at work and don't have the info at hand but can post it later today).
For steering, I initially used the original stuff with bushings from Mustangsteve to adapt the 6cyl. tierod ends to the Granada spindles, but later switched to rack and pinion, with a unit from Randalls Racks, again a Mustang piece ,that was easily modified to fit. Don't know what you have for engine mounts, but Ron Morris adjustable mounts (another Mustang component) work well. I use them and they allow a more comfortable fit of the engine placement/headers/trans etc. For the rear, I'm using a composite monoleaf spring instead of the usual steel leafs, with a Currie modified 8" rear end. 8" rears from the mid '70s Mavericks and Comets are a good fit, but check your wheel backspacing and fender clearance
