72 chero question

Im not a ranchero guy, but my buddy has a 1972 chero with a 351c in it and he bought a bm torque converter a tci flexplate and a summit high torque starter and he now finds out they dont work together, not they are tellin him if he buys a new bellhousing for 400 dollars that they will work, anyyone have a better i dea, i think he should get the three from the same manufact and thats better but im not a cleveland guy either, from the windsor family here, thanks for any help

tell him to get rid of B/M converter and get TCI. Check starter nose depth to ring gear, make sure they match. I have Powerhouse on my engine, no problems at all.
