'94 4.6 swap into '72 Ranchero*

I just picked up a '94 Crown Vic to swap the drivetrain into my '72 Ranchero, anyone done this or have any insight on this swap?

Haven't seen it done, but it sounds interesting. If you do it, please post pics and info!

I think the crown vics have a rear sump oil pan, should make an interesting swap. They are a nice smooth running engine.

yup, rear sump, problem I see is the driver side manifold sits right where the steering gear is, may be spring before I dig in.
