Hey Lee, where did you get the pictures of that Vespa? The guy who owns/built it lives near me. He could have sold it though. I took this picture of it myself.

Not a rod, but another example of excess:

2 roots blowers = less heat from the boosting of the air. Turbos don't look that Sexy and they Clutter everything up...... But you are right they would make more power....

Re: Most radical street rod engine......

How can you see the street with the engine in the way....?

That is a nice problem to have though...

He could never cut that thing loose, it would flip over in 1/4 second.

Re: Most radical street rod engine......

There's alot to be said about a Boss 429, but one with two blowers reminds me of the old Barris cars. Heavy cool factor. ...and what motor is in the 69 Mustang mock up?

That do look like it be a 1000 CI Sherman Tank engine
Or maybe something out of a Nuclear Powered Aircraft Carrier!

Re: Most radical street rod engine......

Either someone made a car just like that or I saw that car in Garden Grove a in the last 1 or 2 years. It was so unique and unusual its not easy to forget I hardly ever see a boss 429 let alone one with two blowers.

That twin blown boss 429 rod toured the US a few years back, and I believe was sold to someone there.
