Y-block in a 46 Coupe?

New to this forum. Has any one done a Y-Block in a 46 Coupe? I have an NOS Cragar adapter and a NOS Hurst motor mount with instructions. I guess my question is will the distribtor clear the firewall without modifying it?

I believe most of the SBC installations I have seen require firewall mods, so I don't see how a Y block would be any different. I tried a 351C in a '48, and there was no way it would fit without taking out the entire firewall.
