This is the ONLY site you'll need:

THE H.A.M.B. - Powered by vBulletin

One warning: Read the forum rules, post an intro, use the 'Search" feature and be respectful. These guys are hard core hotrodders, will give you more help and advice than you can handle, but a newbee has to earn their respect.

I'll second and third that. Also, make DAMN sure you don't post anything off topic in there, they will eat you for lunch. GREAT SITE! TONS of info, and some BAD cars!

We're probably making the HAMB sound rougher than it really is. I have a bunch of friends there who are likely mad at me for NOT logging in more often... What you have to remember is that are more than a few guys there who were building rods in the '50s. They know their game well and once they learn that you're truly serious about traditional hot rods, these dudes will bend over backward to help. That's why I mentioned the Search function. Before you ask a question, run a search. You'll never believe the amount of good info in the archives over there.

That book is a must have plus his website has a lot of good parts. I just sold my galaxie, and bought a 30 Ford Coupe. Ive been on the hamb for a while now, it has a TON of really good stuff. I found it a few years ago while looking for stuff on my 54 belair. Plus if your going to be buying a lot of parts sign up for the Alliance, you will save a ton of cash.
