1941 Ford

Howdy!

Finally after 7 weeks of constant rain we finally have some nice weather!

About four weeks ago I bought a 1941 Ford Businessman coupe for rodding. It is not in bad shape as it has the usual dings and dents to deal with.

I have a couple of question to ask which could help me out tremendously in my journey
  1. Are the 1941 to 1948 frames the same?
  2. Can anyone forward to me some pictures of a 41 that has the Pro Touring look to it?
  3. Where is a good place to pick up a grill for my baby?
Thanks for all of your help with my Baby!

Terry

Re: 1941 Ford

Heres a link I've had for years, has 50+ makes of cars and body styles to look at from stock to wild.....This link is to the "Ford" section, just click on 1941 and then pick your body style, there should be something in there to look at, this is the only thing I can help ya with for now.

Re: 1941 Ford

Yes, the frame is the same but the front ends are a lot different. Mine is a 46 with a 41 front clip on it. What are some of the questions you have about it?
The axles are different if you are thinking of keeping the straight axle but they will interchange.
As for grills, what are you looking for? One to rechrome or one to paint? There are a lot of them out there still but I have not seen a new center grill available but then I have not looked either. MAC'S has a lot of parts for this car and good quality.
I have no problem helping answer as much as I can. I also have a buddy with a 41 business coupe.
