New Project

Hi,

My wife and I just bought a '34 project truck to build. It's chopped already and the plan is: plain, simple, no billet or flash and the 289 from my Galaxie. Love the rest of the site and looking forward to any input on the Rod as it progresses. Will get a pick up soon. Cheers!

Slim

Re: New Project

Best of luck on the project Slim. What trans and rear are you going to run in it?
And please tell me you are running fenders and boards.

Re: New Project

Probably will end up with a T5 tranny, haven't decided on rear gears yet. It is going to be my wifes ride so it is gonna be built to what she wants. No fenders or boards and no bed. Although I am going to build one that is detachabe for trips to shows and stuff. Because of that I got to do some figuring and sort out the weight on the rear with the gears so i can keep the a@# end on the road.

Re: New Project

Still around. Just busier than I can believe. I started a classic car resto/rehab shop with a friend of mine here in Tucson and have been tied up with that, especially since I already work a full time job. Work continues slowly on the Galaxie and the '34 Ford truck for my wife. Got a '56 F100 in the shop right now in about 9 pieces. Too Much Fun!!!
