Hi any one with info about stroker BB. What stroke can be added to -78 block without machining the block? What safe bore? Also looking to buy a set of heads for more power in to it.
Thanks

Is it a D1VE date code? If so a 4.5" crank will fit & it'll go .060 to .080 without checking it. 4.5" stroke & a .030 (4.692) bore is 545"!

The only problem you might have is the main webbing on your block. I forget if '77 or '78 is the last year of the blocks with thicker webbing. You should look into this if if you're going to stroke it. I also recommend a main girdle if you're going to rev it past 6K.
