hey its shorty from Australia. i have a small block 406w that i have just dynoed (it made 647hp)and i am going to put it into a race prepared 69 fairlane hoping to run into the 9.90's. i am already thinking about upping the ante and going to an A460 svo block and stroking this also. i have seen a 806ci stroker kit from flatlander racing, and i was wondering how they get a six inch stroke into this block when ford recommends no bigger than 4.5 inches. Know one out here in australia is running a genuine mountain motor in our pro street catergory, i would love to be the first.

FRPP #M-6010-A96. It can be had in either 10.320 or 12.000 deck height. It seems to be only available through Raceparts Distribution (704)892-8688.

It says it could have displacements up to 815 ci.

The A460 FRPP block will only accomodate a 4.750" stroke with moderate grinding and a 5.00" stroke with massive heavy grinding. The displacements would be in the 632 to 655 cubic inch range.
To get to 800+ inches, you'll need an RDI or C&C Motorsports block with a 12.0" inch deck height and wider pan rails to clear a stroke thats over 5.00" inches.
