Stroking a 302

Hi, I'm 14yrs old and I was wonderin what will I need exactly when or if I stroke my dad's 87 GT, while I'm in high school

you will need a stroker crank, rods, and pistons. depending on what kit you go for you might need a 28oz. balancer and flywheel/flexplate. also some machine work on the block ie: bore/hone and possibly notching the oil pan rail and cylinder bottoms of the block for the added stroke of the crank.

the stroker kit itself usual goes for around $1200 to $1500 for a basic kit which usualy contains a crank, 8 rods, and 8 pistons (some kits are balanced others are not). im just taking a stab at it but machine work will probably run you $300-$1000 or even more, like i said im not too sure.

YOU MAY ALSO HAVE TO INCLUDE THE PRICE OF A CAM , INTAKE , CARB, AS YOU WANT TO MAKE IT PERFORM RATHER THAN STROKING IT AND ADDING STOCK ENGINE COMPONANTS .
