Well it kind of depends on your cam selection, Twisted wedge makes a couple of cams for folks that are usig stock pistons, so the answer is yes. I don't have the parts numbers but, there web site will list the cams. They are pretty mild, in the 200-230 @ 50 range with lifts in the high .400-.520 range if memory serves correctly.

Onto you other questions, pedestal mounts of studs. I went with studs, pedestal mount limit your selection to the Ford brand of rockers, and everyone wants to add a few extra bucks onto your bill. My engines use the best part even if they happen to fit the competitions motors. Meaning yes you can find bowtie rockers on my blue oval engines. They are easier to adjust and are just as durable. Meaning stud mounted rockers not just because they come off or were built for Chevy's.
I would recommend 7/16 studs if you go this way. .

What heads would I buy and whats heads have I purchased.
I have never owned wedge heads of any sort, not that they are not a good product. I just haven't found any I liked, I still hear the stories of excessive valve guide wear. But if your just a strip car, this isn't an issue because your inspections should catch this problem and you will have your heads serviced regularly any way.

I have purchased 3 sets of heads in the last 3 years, and they are follows

185cc AFR on my 393. $1325.00
185cc or approximately same sized canfield stage II ported on a 347. $1500.00+

195cc Pro-1 Darts on a 302W, $1250.00

All of these heads were good stuff all have 7/16 studs, and all have been cnc milled. They flow similar numbers. But each one of the heads will take different lift cams the AFR are .550 max, the Canfields will take a .650 lift, and the Pro-1 will handle .580 lift

They all have 2.02 valves but the canfields they have a 2.05 intake with 1.60 ex.

The pistons on each engine are just as unique, with KB, Speed pro. The JE pistons in the 347, were double cut for both Twisted wedge heads or standard valve configured cylinder heads.

What would I buy out of the three, it would be a coin toss, the nicest overall were the AFR's they were slow, in shipping it took 3 months, the fastest was the Pro-1 Dart heads shipping in 10 days, including a 3 day build-up, and 7 days shipping. The canfields were purchased from Fox Lake, and were very nice and they took about 2-3 weeks if memory serves me correctly.

I would buy any of three but if time was no-issue I would buy another set of AFR's..

Another consideration. Depending on your build, the 1.90 intakes might perform just as well. I know on the Performaer RPMs that the ports are the same size, and the flow numbers are almost identical. Also, I hear the larger valves on windsor heads can lead the shrouding with the cylinder walls, which negates any performance advantage from the added valve size.

Realistically, aftermarket heads provide the biggest gain on the exhaust side anyway. That's where factory windsor heads sucked the most.
