Stuck on a carby

I am in the process of building a 351 Cleveland stroker , using 6inch steel rods , Venolia pistons 2V open chamber heads , Offenhauser Port o sonic manifold , single plane , and before parting with the cash for a carby am just wondering if anyone could from experience guide me in the right direction , I have ended up with 377 cubes , and 10.5 compression , Please help[img]/phpBB/images/smiles/icon_frown.gif[/img]

Stuck on a carby

650 cfm-850 cfm would work well DP or Vac. More if your going nitrous. But I agree completely.. Most folks myself included tend to over carb. If your running under 7000rpm and have ve of 98% you would need 778 CFM or 800 cfm. Thats was based upon 392 cubes.

The more RPM's you turn the more carby you will need..

I don't see any cam specs, and that makes a difference. Those heads will breathe a lot of air, and if you have a healthy cam to match it, I would be in at least the 750cfm range.
