Just an Observation.....

Why is everyone worried about twisting an engine? It seems that everyone is building stump pullers, (Low rpm torque engines) Isn't that the same as a diesel. Just joking.....

We have a 408C that spins 9500rpm and makes a little over 800hp. I got it from a Nascar owner in Richmond Va. a few years back and it is a blast to run in our new ex-pro stock Pinto that we're tweaking right now.

Jeez we spin our blown 598 BBC in the dragster at 8500 rpm with 41lbs boost.

Build it lite and zero balanced and let it rip.
