oversized timing chain

I have converted a 68 302 block to 4 bolt splayed main caps which required me to have the mains line bored. Now my timing chain has a little more slack in it than I like. Does anyone sell a .005 or .0010 shorter timing set for a sbf like they do for the chevys? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Re: oversized timing chain

Contact CLOYES. They can make you a custom one. You will need exact measurements.

Here 'ya go-

Cloyes offers reduced center distance sets, available in .005 & .010 reduced, for most of our High Performance applications to accommodate your align honed engines. Each of these sets are "hand matched" at the Cloyes factory to ensure true and accurate center distance.
To order a reduced CD set, simply add the appropriate suffix to the set number. For example, 9-3100-5 or 9-3100-10.

Cut and paste the above URL into your browser. This Java sucks for some reason.

Re: oversized timing chain

It helped to keep your post near the top where it wouldn't get lost in the thick of things Mr. BRANDON6...

You COULD have used GOOGLE you know...

Way to set me in my place and shut me up me though. I'll watch myself in the future.

And I might just own a Ford.... It really don't matter does it... I sure as HELL don't own a chevy though
