Pinks all Out, Gainesville... We made the show
Well, we made it into the Gainesville Pinks all out finial 16. But we have to apologize to all the Ford Fans... Forest got into the burnout box for our first televised run and had the number 8 intake valve fractured, pieces went into the intake and found their way into number 1-6-7-8 cylinders hammering the pistons and bending number 1 exhaust valve.
Sorry for not representing Ford better. We’ll be back with CHI heads.

Excellent showing to make the sweet sixteen. Sorry for the breakdown.

Re: Pinks all Out, Gainesville... We made the show
I have a question about Pinks and Pinks All Out. I know in Pinks the loser gives up his car and in All Out the winner makes money but...do the participents get paid whether they win or lose? I have watched some really nice cars get handed over when they lost the race and have always wondered, if there is no money given to the loser, why would a person take such a gamble like that? I know I would hate to give up a car that I had that much time and money in.

I don't know if there is any truth to it, but I seem to remember hearing or reading that the loser could buy the car back for some token amount ($100 was mentioned) if they lost on Pinks.
I know that it would take some type of arrangement like that for me to consider doing it, especially with Rich always having HIS way during negotiations. He does appear to play favorites all too often and that really detracts from the show (at least for me.) I think that Pinks All Out is very good and I try not to miss new episodes of "Pass Time."

Re: Pinks all Out, Gainesville... We made the show
Not sure about the buy back deal, I would never run any car for titles. I like our cars to much.
I agree, Rich seems to run the negotiations and have seen a few(many) boned by it. I don't normally watch the pinks show just because all the starting line bullies, that have a chip on there shoulder. If you beat a guy by 3.5 then give him 3.5.. To much pedaling and such... Pinks all out is the show, and it draws a bigger crowed. Last week there was 500 cars at Atlanta.

I agree with the favoritism too. I have watched guys get dinged for 'jumping' when I thought the start was 'to close to call'. Is there a reason they don't use the tree?

Must have been a real "rush"! Good looking car, looking forward to that episode. Hope you didnt bet all $1000 at the start! With all the wrongs of PINKS, its still one of only 3 shows I DVR each week. I wish they would put drag racing on ESPN or SPEED, other than top fuel, funny car, and pro stock.

It's supposed to replicate street racing title for title. There's no tree on the street. It was a good idea for a show, but Rich is such a nerd and has such a big head he screws it up. I agree with all the earlier comments about Pinks "All Out" and "Pass Time". They are all entertaining in their own way, though. I'll be watching for that Gainsville show.
