What year T bird do you have?
I have a 64 t bird. Its in white primer with touquiose (sp) interior. I'll be painting the car viper blue with a pearl white top. I'll also be switching the interior to white. I've shaved off the handles, emblems except the birds on the roof and shaved the antenna. The car has been sitting for 4yrs due to the brakes and front end going out. I just lost interest then. With this forum, its spiked my interest again. I have to sell some other projects to get this one back on track.

Sounds sweet!
I love the 64-66.
If I had the money, I would love to scoop up the 60 that is for sale around here. The 58-60 is my favorite.

I had a 60, but it was pretty rusty. It was in decent shape from the outside, but it was rotting under the paint on the lower half of the car. I blew the motor after it had been sitting for a few years. After that, I just said forget it, it wasn't worth the money and time to me at that time. I wouldn't mind having it now though. I would really like to have a 63.

Thunderbucket, if you cut and paste the following query in to eBay's search field, there is always disk brake conversion kits listed:
(61, 62, 63) (thunderbird, t-bird, tbird)
Also, I've heard that the spindles and brakes from a 66 bird will bolt right into a bullet bird front end. 66's came with front disc.
I have a 63 that just get a suspension face lift. The next project for this money sponge is a complete paint and body resto. $5,000!! Interior is complete, engine is complete though I'm not satisfied with the performance from the stock 390.

1958 TBird white hardtop/black and white interior. Original 62,000 mile car with original dealer's paperwork. 352/300. Rechromed rear bumper, new padded dash, and front seat covers. Rest of car is stock. 2nd owner (purchased from a 93 year old lady in 1989). Car's for sale (North Jersey)
1994 TBird LX 4.6 black/tan interior. 138,000 miles, factory spoiler, looks and runs great, rebuilt trans, selling next April.
2003 TBird black/saddle buckets. 280 hp, 5 speed automatic, removeable hardtop, 11,000 miles, pretty quick.
Also have a 2004 Lincoln LS 8 Sport/Light Tundra metallic; 280 hp, great handler, pretty quick, sorry to see the LS die as it did after such a great start, and
1964 Galaxie 500XL convertible (clone) 209,000 miles, turq with black buckets, owned since 1967, looks great, runs well (352/250) motor has about 110,000 on it, car has frame rust, but it's had the rust since the late 70's, so I'm just going to drive it until the doors no longer open.

Well, the 58 TBird is sold. New owner took it a few weeks ago.
Took a few last shots of my three birds. Maybe some day I'll figure how to post them.
Miss the car, but just wasn't getting the use out of her, so it was mostly sitting in the $100 per month garage. Sure was a pretty car.
Now I have to hope that the 64 Galaxie keeps running. I'd hate to be without a classic car, especially in September (Wildwood, NJ, boardwalk autoshow).
