Is is practical or not?

I have a 73 T-bird in a barn at my farm which I received from my late dad's estate in 1982. I drove it till 1986 when the intake manifold developed a crack. I parked it in the barn the summer of 86 with only 50K on the clock, where it has remained covered, inside since. My question to the experts is: Would it be practical for me to try and put this car back on the road? I looked at it today and it still looks decent except for the tires and dust. I can't see the frame or underbody but I can only assume oxidation has done it's dirty work in the time allowed. I know it would need converting to unleaded and of course the intake manifold being replaced. What should I consider before deciding whether or not to tackle the rebuild? What particulars should I examine in order to make a final decision? New guy on the block. Thanks in advance.

Welcome.

What state has the car been parked in and I can better follow up on answering your question.
I drove a '74 Cougar XR7 back in my last year of highschool and they're practically the came car...
