spread bore help

I have a 1976 thunderbird with a 460 and I'm having a little trouble hooking up the Spreadbore carb.

Once you see the picture you'll see arrows pointing at 2 different ports. Could someone please tell me to what I hook these ports up to and why.

the top port is a fuel bowl vent ..usually goes to the vapor canister if so equipped, the second is the choke/ fast idle kick off and usually goes to a temperature switch in the intake to pull off the choke when the engine reaches a certain temp

On the temp switch what port does it get attached to?

it will be placed in the water jacket of the intake
