Rack & Pinion in a \'65

Hi,

I'm the proud owner of a 64 Landau and a 65 Convertible. I've restored the Landau to near stock condition, but I want to modify the Convertible into a car I can drive anywhere. Among the upgrades I plan (Fuel Injection, AOD), I'd like to do away with the steering box and convert to rack and pinion. Has this been done before? Is a kit available?

I'd try rrs. Their stuff isnt cheap, but it might be about the only option unless you want to try modify the mustang stuff.
