64 tbird disk brake convertion

I have a 64 tbird i am trying to convert to disk brake in front i read on line that that 60-64 full size fords were the same . Parts form a doner car would be 77-79 t bird,couger,ltd ll, or montego. I found a 78 ltd ll I grabed master booster , calipers, spindles and rotors .I installed spindle assembly every thing lined up but lower ball joints taper is to small . Ball joint for 78 ltd ll is a press in 64 tbird has three bolt mounting.I am looking for a ball joint that will bolt in to my stock tbird control arm
with a ball joint taper of .833 bottom and .678 at top of lower ball joint or any other solution . help please!!!!
