1989 Mercury Cougar

I have a 1989 mercury cougar XR7 which is pretty close to the same thing as a thunderbird supercoupe. I reccently crashed my car and i am a little strapped on cash and was wondering what parts body wise would line up and interchange between the two of them. So that when im looking for parts i can do this with the shortage of cash in mind. Any help would be greatly appreciated as i know very little about these sort of things.
