picking the right bird

I have just got of school and i am looking for a good car to replace my fiero. I want v8, rearwheeldrive, and lux, in my area 90s(1990-1996) thunderbirds are cheap. But I am not sure what year is best? The car will be used as a daily drive and see some drag strip action.

An info will help.

Re: picking the right bird

It all depends on which you prefer, 5.0 or 4.6 engines. In 91-93 they had 5.0 option, and in 94-97 they had the 4.6 engines.

How about a 1967 t-bird , a cream white paint , a very nice medium blue interior , original paint . May need new paint , depends on how it takes to wax . Price somewhere around 2500 or so . It has a 428 fe big block .
