battery power

i need to get a bigger battery for my 69 with the 429 bb in it. i figured the crank amp is too low (520) as the battery dies all the time and it is slow at cranking over - allways sounds as if the battery is dying when i start it and its a new battery , im going to be installing a big stereo in it with a few tv screens etc and i want enough juice so what do i need

whats advised, should i also have another one wired up in the trunk as a backup one or something

Re: battery power

Youanswered your own post... You need about an $80 dollar 800 CCA battery

Might want to upgrade your alternator too. Many car's were produced with two choices for alternators... 55-60 amp and 75-100 amp something like that.
