92 tbird no dash lights

Okay I have done all the basic stuff < with out tearing down the dash> all fuses are good and theres power at the fuse panel. Still no dash lights...so whats next ? faulty lamp switch ? anyone have similiar problems ? Thanks in advance...Skidmark

Could be a faulty dimmer switch which should be part of the headlight switch. Did you recently in stall after market radio and use the red and blue wire for ground?

those dashes might have one bulb servicing all displays... it's not a cheap bulb, IIRC....

I have a 97, and I am putting a 95 instrument panel in my 97 (more gauges), and I can tell you that there are a bunch of little lights in the instrument panel-- one for each instrument. I think the 92's are very similar to the 94-97 birds in that respect.

If there are no dash lights, most likely you need a new light switch and/or dimmer switch (I'm not sure if the 92's have the dimmer switch).
