front clip

I have a 1995 T-Bird with a rather bland looking front end. It would appear that a nose clip from a 1995 Mark V111 would bolt right on to it. Does anyone know if this is easily done?

Re: front clip

I'm not gonna say it can't be done but it would take someone that really, REALLY knows what they're doing, it wouldn't be as simple as just changing out parts. The leading edge of the T-bird door has a very differnet line to it then the Mark, the Mark has a "hump" in the body line about mid way down the body and the T-bird has none so that would be a issue and then theres the hood. I'm sure there is very little difference in the front unibody between the two but the rest of it would be some work. I have a 1996, I have always felt that the 96-97 had the best looking front nose.

Thanks for the information in regard to the clip replacement. I think I will forget the idea.

Re: front clip

What you could do, is swap 96-97 head lights to it. To do that, you would need to also use the headers panel (the black plastic piece that the head lights bolt to) and a 96-97 hood. I think the 94-95 bumper cover and 96-97 headlights makes a great looking combination. The 96-97 head lights look MUCH nicer, but requires the 96-97 hood to fit correct.

Re: front clip

Thanks for your idea of replacing the headlights and hood.It could be done at a reasonable cost.I have learned that my previous idea was impossible.
