I do not recall what the exact 93 Bird HP was listed at, but the lower rating is due to the smaller throttle body, and very restrictive exhaust. The tubular exhaust manifilds/headers pinch down from about 1 3/8 to 1 inch in places, the cats are restrictive with a built in sharp 90 degree turn on the inlet on one side, and the exhaust coming out of the 3rd cat into the resonator is very restrictive.

There are little differences every where on the cars that make them a challenge to get a big performance jump, but they are a very nice car when completed.
