What have we here?

What a nice surprise. I've been on this board for awhile. Nice to see a Torino page.I have a 68 GT Fastback. Owned it since June 01. Has a 390/C6. Theres a pic of it in the Fairlane board. Stick around this is a good place. Lot of knowledge and the people are friendly.

I got a '68 Formal roof in the back yard. I didn't think anyone cared so I never brought it up in conversation. New reproduction and NOS interior, all chrome is rechromed, media blasted and painted the original Springtime yellow, black interior, and 460 going in it after I get the roller 466 in the Falcon wagon. The Torino basically looks like new and also Poly Graphite front suspension bushings with new inner/outer tie rods and upper/lower ball joints. Engine compartment fresh satin black and ready for the 460.

I guess I'll list mine and then you will have to list yours Rick

'68 Falcon wagon - has 289(runs.drives perfect!) but getting the solid roller alum head 466.

'68 Formal roof Torino - Basically all restored minus engine/trans which will get a mild 460/C-4 combo.

'65 Fairlane 500 wagon - 10:1 351W w/3.40 gears(runs/drives perfect!) I will be selling it however to finish the 466 and the Crites 460 swap kit for the '68 Falcon wagon.

'78 Fairmont wagon - Had 392 stroker but now has 10.5:1 302 w/ported 289 heads(runs/drives perfect!). I'm keeping as a spare or possible future project. Very nice car inside and out.

'76 Pinto wagon - Had solid roller 351W in it but no drive train now.

'00 F-250 XLT SD crew cab V-10 off road 4X4 towing package, camper package, rear sway bar, 4 wheel disc brakes, ABS, etc.(runs/drives perfect!).

'01 Focus SE w/DOHC 2.0L 4dr automatic for wife(runs/drives perfect!).

Recently sold:

'88 Mustang GT - stock California GT with 2.73 gears and 5spd(ran/drove perfect!). Towed 3 cars from Tulsa with it

'89 Coupe(beautiful car that I towed here with the '88 GT). I had planned on putting a 418 stroker in until I found the Falcon wagon.

'73 Maverick Grabber(ran great but was stock)

And my dad has his '68 Cyclone GT 390 in my back yard too(beautiful car). I runs/drives great but the 390 is weak and was rebuilt with 8.5:1 compression pistons but sure likes the 850DP I put on it and the 3.90 9" pumpkin I had not being used.

My neighbor(in his 80s) two houses down has a beautiful '65 Comet convertable in his garage. Light blue with white top and hasn't moved since I've lived here a little over 4 years. I think I can get it for a cheap price. I'm gonna try anyway when the time is right. Interior and paint is very nice but it doesn't run but I know it's a V-8 because it has 5 lug wheels. Perfect mild 408 stroker candidate!(for normal street use)

I had a '68 Montego MX once. Ran like a charm and had nice interior. I really liked that car for some reason. One I should have kept for a mild big block but at that time I was into small blocks only. DOH! You're right. We both screwed up getting rid of that car. Paint & a dash pad & it was a cruiser.
