found 1969 r code Cyclone how rare?

I just found in a farmers field a 69 Cyclone fastback with an R code (engine in it is a 2v big block )fifth digit, Buckets console , power windows p.brakes. the only thing missing is the grille but the car looks like it was pushed there with a backhoe. My question to you gentlemen is how rare is this beast and how hard should I try to save a rusty beatup old supercar?

Are you kidding?? a 69 Cyclone "R" code (428 CJ)....and its got power windows????? Jeeeez!! I'd snatch that up as quickly as I could, even if it does have rust!
I'm not sure of production figures, but ANY Cyclone is a rarity nowdays....heck, even a plain old Montego is not very common anymore. How many do you see in your daily commute?? Not many!
You better grab that car!

I thought the "R" meant something but all I could remember was "Q", guess I'll try to buy the old girl she's sitting in a field in Alberta surrounded by an overturned 40 Ford coupe and a 47 Ford 2 door sedan I love finding lost gold!

P.S. the power window switches on the door kind of threw me I'd never seen them before.
