electric window problems on my \'76

I just got my passenger door back together after some patching. I can't get the window glass to clear the motor when the glass is lowered to the bottom. I need to get the glass "out" away from the motor about 1/2". I've adjusted everthing that I know to adjust and still no go. Does anybody have any advice???

I have the '76 Shop manual set. The Body book shows the adjustment procedure for the door glass. PM me with a fax number or I can scan those pages and email them to you ( they may be a bit big) LMK Stu
