Ever wanted to mini-tub a 1971 Torino?

I did, and I am doing so as we speak!

I post pics on this site every few days or so with updates.

A short list of mods during this work:

Minitubs for 325/50/15 BFG Drag Radials
Narrow axle
Move leaf springs inboard of the frame rail
Add subframe connectors
Add a 5th leaf to the springs
Convert rear drums to 1992 Crown Vic disc brakes
Install two core aluminum radiator

Yep, I post over there quite a bit, not so much here, though.

Thought I'd post what I've done so far here and see what happened.

I get to Tulsa quite a bit, even had plans to finish my car and do the Arlington, TX to Tulsa leg of the Power Tour this year.

Car won't be ready, and other plans will have me busy that weekend anyhow.

Never have been to a Shelby meet, though!

We draw a lot of neat cars. It's a big show & next year will be really cool as we'll have the drags & road race at the same facility. Post some pics as you get more done. Not that I would do it but I have a '70 Spoiler & an affinity for these big cars [img]/phpBB/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif[/img]
