Need help with spy photos

This car is parked in a church parking lot. Was covered for a number of years and the the cover finally blew off to reveal the following. I was able to eyeball it up close once when the gate was open and it must have been a track only car at one time, no interior, no engine/ tranny,. Now my question is what is it and are there any parts that worth saving. It seems I called the church at the right time and was told take it away as the owner left the state and doesn't want it any longer. I'll post better pics soon and if it can be saved I will, but may be alittle to rotten. Thanks All

My motto is anything FREE is worth hauling off and saving all the parts I can off of it!

My wife isn't too cool about my collection of 'rare' parts though!

Its a 1968 Torino or Fairlane...not a 69 model. If its not too rusted away, why not save it as a whole?

Its not a Talladega, those were 1969 only models and had special extended front fenders. This car in the photos is clearly a standard front fender 1968 model. Cant tell if its a Torino or Fairlane however.

Thanks all, and I was given the car and finally got to check the door tag. It is a 68 fairlane and came with a 289 C4. No engine or trans and the rot is real bad. The only thing that might be interesting is the 9" as the car was stripped at one time for the track. If a buddy of mine will do me a solid he'll stop by the house on the way to the crusher and I'll blue wrench the rear out. But I have to start another thread about a real Torino.

Are the moldings still on by the back windows? If so how good are they? You appear to have some usable parts there for us 68 owners.

After I grabbed the whole rear, 9" spool is my quess, finally got back over there to check out the window trim and the car's gone. I hope at least it gets recycled into a another Ford.
Sorry, as I explained in the other post, no time even to trim my beard
