What\'s a good selling price for a 1973 Gran Torino??

I'm trying to sell my 73 Gran Torino but I have no idea on what to ask for a selling price. The car is not perfect by any means but it's not a total POS either. I've been looking at ebay for price guides and they either have fully restored Torinos or really, really crappy ones. I can't seem to find any in my car's condition to compare selling prices.

I was wondering if someone could take a look at some pics of the car and see if they could suggest a starting point for an asking price. I realize that it's only worth what someone is willing to pay for it, but a general idea would be helpful.

You can see pics of the car here:

Thanks!

Nick

Nick,
Funny, I think I saw your car on craigslist. I used to live in the bay area too. Anyhow, I think your car will probably fetch between $2000-$2750. Cool car but yours is a garden variety torino. It may be worth much more as they all get crushed but that won't be for another 10 or 15 years. Ebay may fetch you just over $3000 but that's it.
Good Luck,
Jon

Thanks for the reply. Yeah, I have my Torino posted on craigslist. I have had good luck selling other things on there so I figured I would give it a shot with the Torino.

Even with all that rust you think I could get $2000 or so?

Yeah, it's not a GT or a Fastback or anything special like that so I wasn't expecting a lot for it and I think that's why it's been on the market for so long and still hasn't sold.

Those spots behind the rear wheel fender are a notorious spot for those cars!

$1750-$2500 on ebay
