Look for rust ANYWHERE... But look intently in the over the rear axle area on the frame rails and where the body sits on the frame. Take a long thin screwdriver with you and poke around the metal right where the frame starts bending upwards to go ove the rear axle. They like to get rust there from Dirt and Debris build up that holds moisture. And that severly weakens the frame of the car.

Good Luck!

The 351 windsor is the tall deck version of the venerably 289/302 smallblock. There is a huge selection of aftermarket and reproduction parts for those motors. The parts are also reasonably priced. That is the cheapest motor in the Ford family to build and get good hp from. Stock to 427 ci stokers can be built from that combo. In stock form that mill will run forever. The 351 cars also had a 9 inch axle in 69 so that is a good thing. The only potential drawback is it may have an FMX auto behind it.

Well, I would say that looks the part of a very cool car, paint is pretty decent, althought I could stand to ditch the STP sticker myself.
I would be concerned with rust issues in the underside, in the structural parts of the car; look at the cowl area, under the dash for rust problems...I don't know about where that car is, I believe Germany, but here in the US salt used in the winter months ate alot of these cars up if the were not treated or washed on a regular basis.
The 351 is a good engine, although expect it to be a hungry beast at the gas station.
Good luck!
