Seats questions and resources

I'm new here, had a few questions I was hoping someone could help me with. I recently purchased a 71 T5 with a 351M that will have to come out and very little interior. This car is the first car I've owned produced before 1990, and the first American. So I'm not only new to this car, but this market in general.

I, for some reason or another, want bench seats. Not sure why. I've been pricing them lately and I found one locally in rough condition for 900, it came out of a 70. My question is, does anyone know what year/model benches will fit in a 71 T5, and around what to expect to pay? I'm hoping the 900 was a bit steep as they will need alot of work to even make them daily drive-able.

Also, does anyone have any suggestions for sites that may contain interior and external parts for cars of these years? Or any sites that are good resources in general? I need all the help I can get. Thanks!

Dearborn classics will have alot of interior stuff 900 for seats is an outrage unless they are stuffed with hundreds T-5 I have no idea where you are getting that from and are you sure it had a 351m? these cars came with the 351c the way to tell is stand at the drivers side fender with the hood up and look at the valve cover in the top left there will be a little bit of head material with a number cast into it it will either be 2 4 or if it is a 351m it will have an M cast into it.

yep, 1971 torino 500, I was calling it "T5" because I'm hopelessly lazy. And yep, the engine is a 351M and a 3 speed on the floor, where as it was a 302 automatic at the begining of its life. I don;t know anything of the history of the vehicle, so I really don;t know how the 351M got in it.

I'm glad to hear 900 is rediculous for the bench, I'll have a look around on the Dearborn for interior items. Thanks!
