Torino Blinker Question AGGRAVATING

I was working under the dash of my 68 and something gray about the size of a nickel with some sort of terminal fell out. I didnt kno what it was so I hung on to it. I drove the car the next day and by turn signal didnt blink. Instead when I pushed the lever up or down, the lights stayed solid instead of blinking. I cant find the part that came out and I looked under the dash and couldnt find where something might be missing. Its really aggravating pushing the stick up and down manually make the signals blink

Sounds like the heel of your flasher without the "Can" part attached-
get a new flasher-yours fell apart

Should be right under the dash right of the steering column on a clip. Its a 3 prong connector, little can cylinder lookin guy.

Its 3 prong? I bought a universal flasher and it only has 2 prongs. On my wiring diagram one wire comes into the cylinder and one comes out.

It could be either 3 or 2 prong.
