I've seen that one up for sale before. I wonder how sound it actually is.

They don't mention that the guy who restored the one on Ebay said he had $90k into it. It was on the block twice. The last time it got to $51k and the reserve wasn't met. It is a case of over-restored.

The Charger 500 is finally making progress again. The first bodyshop was a disaster... over $19,000 spent, but only a very little salvageable work. The car was ransomed from that hell-hole, and taken to a shop in Arkansas.

Here is a link to my restoration thread in the Aero Car forum on DodgeCharger.Com (link skips the first 50 pages, but you can navigate back if you want to):

Restoration of my B5 Blue 4Spd Charger 500... a long saga begins...

Also, here is a Talladega restoration thread on the forum:

And a mind blowing correct restoration of a Daytona:

To get over the downer of the first bodyshop disaster, I bought myself a new toy last New Years Eve (see attached picture):

I have just started the restoration of my 1969 Charger 500 Aero Mopar and would like to eventually display it side-by-side with a Talladega Aero Ford.
Why would you display them side-by-side? With such attention to details as you're showing with with these restorations, I'd think you'd want to be period correct and put the Ford out in front a little bit : P

j/p - awesome project, can't wait to see pictures when you've got this all wrapped up.
